Subject: Construction Notice - No Heat and Hot Water - Buildings 1, 2, and 7
Hello everyone – we have been pressuring the various contractors (Preston Pipelines, CMI, and Yamas) to finish up the heating and hot water piping repairs and zone control work. We deliberately asked them to minimize the impact to the campus where possible when shutting off the hot water system that provides heat and sink hot water.
To that end, we have O.K.d their work during Spring Recess. Building 1 and Building 2 will have no heat or sink hot water from Monday, March 21 thru Friday, March 25. Building 7 will have no heat or sink hot water from Monday, March 21 thru Tuesday, March 22. All other buildings on campus will not be affected.
I apologize for the inconvenience this will pose for my friends working over Spring Recess in the affected buildings. Thanks -
