Subject: Construction Notice - Heating Zone Controls - Building 1

Hello everyone – this notice really applies to those folks who have offices in Building 1, but I’m sending it out to everyone for general info.  Building 1 will be undergoing installation of thermostat controls to better control heat in individual offices and classroom areas.

Beginning Monday, December 20 and lasting through Friday, January 14 – Building 1 will not have any heat.

Paula Reyes-Garcia and Zak Conway, from our Swinerton team, will be personally coordinating with those faculty and staff affected in Building 1 and providing –

  1. boxes if materials need to be moved away from heater units
  2. space heaters if so desired

For those of you not residing in Building 1 - -  remember to wear your jackets when you have to conduct business or need to visit the ‘warm souls’ in Building 1 during this period.

My apologies to my friends in Building 1 for putting you through this during our coldest period of the year, but the new thermostats will greatly aid your work environment comfort in the long run.
