The purpose of the “smart” classroom renovation project at Cañada College is to provide a safe and comfortable learning environment equipped with appropriate resources to support current teaching methods and technologies. The scope for this project encompasses general finish upgrades, including paint and floor finishes, suspended ceilings, fixtures, and other features in five classrooms.  In the Summer 2003, eight large classrooms were renovated.  As classrooms are renovated, “smart” technology is added to create an inviting learning and teaching environment.
