Email
- An SMCCD email username is your key to logging into SMCCD web services.
A username and secure password are required when entering District web sites intended
for faculty and staff viewing.
- Through SMCCD email, your employer will communicate with you.
It is the fastest way to receive college and district notices.
NOTE: Your SMCCD email account can be redirected to your preferred email account
Request a District Email Account
- from your division dean (your name must be in Banner personnel listings)
- from your CTL coordinator:

Change Your SMCCD Email Password
Macintosh or Windows (on or off campus) Go to https://mail.smccd.edu/password/default.htm
On the right side of the page, click on the password button next to the Email Login button.
- Enter your email username _________ @smccd.net
- Your old password
- Your new password
- Retype to confirm your new password.
- Submit

Configure your browser's email program to send/receive district email. Select your email client: (clicking on a link will initiate the download of a .doc file)
