FACULTY Durella Combs is the Welding Technology department's Coordinator and is in her ninth year of teaching welding here at the College of San Mateo. She began her career in trade school which introduced her to welding and encouraged her to pursue more. She came to CSM and graduated with an AS in Welding Technology and has been employed in the welding industry ever since. Most of her experience has been in research and development as an Engineering and Science Technician. She has worked for Sandia National Labs in Livermore, United Technologies CSD, and Varian Associates where she worked on the award winning Klystrode™ television transmitting tube. Contact: |
