Building inspection is a good way for contractors and construction workers to transition into a less physically demanding aspect of construction, while still staying involved in the industry.

Cities and counties, as well as larger government agencies, employ large numbers of building inspectors. Areas that are undergoing rapid growth allow for the greatest job opportunities. However, qualified building inspectors are always needed whereever there is any type of construction.
