·Bioreactors. Open the growth Unit to get practice drawing growth curves and analyzing bacterial growth.
·PCR. Open the Genetics Unit and click on PCR to get practice using PCR to identify microbes.
·Metabolism. Use the Interactive Unit on Metabolism on the CD to get hands-on practice with metabolism. The Metabolism Unit includes activities on oxidation-reduction reactions as well as glycolysis, fermentation, the Krebs Cycle, and respiration. There are also experiments to learn more about enzymes.
·Chemistry. Use the Chemistry Unit on the CD to review chemical principles.
