Placement Test and Assessment Information

- Students need to complete a Cañada College Application for Admission BEFORE they can take or schedule a placement test.
- Tests are computerized and have not time limit.
- Average length of Test:
- Math - 45 minutes to one and a half hours
- English - 45 minutes to one and a half hours
- Calculators are allowed for the Math Test.
- Review materials and sample questions are available on the website.
Scheduling a Placement Test:

- Available during the week and selected Saturdays.
- Tests can be scheduled online, or by calling (650) 306-3452.
All students are encouraged to take the placement tests early.
- Two special Test Placement Sessions have been scheduled for Summer Enrichment Programs Applicants:
- Thursday, May 7, 6:00 p.m., and
- Monday, May 18, 6:00 p.m.
- Students need to complete College admission application before coming to take the placement tests.
