Admission Requirements

To be eligible for entry into the program, students must meet the following requirements:

  • Completion of 60 transferrable units, with a GPA of 2.0 or higher
  • Completion of: Written Communication, Oral Communication, Critical Thinking, and Math/Statistics with a "C" grade or higher
  • Acceptance of admission as a CSU-East Bay student.

The Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences with an option in Administration is offered through a partnership between the University Center at Cañada College and PACE - Program for Accelerated College Education at CSU-East Bay.

How To Get Started

Classes Beginning: We are pleased to announce the official launching of the new partnership between California State University Wast Bay and Cañada College. The first cohort of Health Science majors will begin classes in September 2008.

Enrollment: To be a member of this cohort, we urge you to...
  1. submit your application to Cal State East Bay at csu.mentor.edu
  2. complete an application for the PACE program
Advising: Pre-admission advising is an important step in the admission process for this program.
  1. If you already have an Associates degree or are transfer ready, you can make an appointment to meet with the Cal State East Bay advisor by calling 510.885.7223.
  2. If you are not transfer ready or are not sure if you are transfer ready, please contact the counseling office at Cañada College at 650.306.3452

Meet With An Advisor

Advising appointments with CSUEB advisors will be available from 4-7 pm on April 2, 16, & 30 on the Cañada College Campus, Building 9, Room 125. Carmen Mahood of Cañada College will also be available at the same times and dates in Building 9, Room 131.
