Activities include Transfer Day on Oct. 27 and "Transfer Tuesdays".
October is Transfer Month at Cañada College. During Transfer Month, Cañada will have different activities to illustrate the importance of transferring to a four-year college. Every Tuesday in October will be “Transfer Tuesdays”. Staff and faculty will wear t-shirts, sweatshirts and other clothing from their alma mater or from their favorite university. Students are encouraged to wear gear from their university of choice or their alma mater.
Other activities include:
Allowing students to attend Transfer Day on Oct. 27 in the cafeteria. It will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Participating in “Transfer Tuesdays”.
Giving a few minutes of class time to talk about the transfer option.
Encouraging students to meet with university representative who will come to Cañada throughout the semester.
