Spanish/English Interpretation Program Open House
The program offers bilingual students the opportunity to develop the skills to be interpreters in public and private sectors.
If you are bilingual and looking for a well-paying, flexible, and in-demand career, look no further than the popular Spanish/English Interpretation Program at the Cañada College University Center. The program is the result of a partnership between the University Center and the San Francisco State University College of Extended Learning.
The program offers bilingual students the opportunity to develop the skills necessary to be interpreters in public and private sectors, such as the courts, schools, medical settings, and businesses. Coursework is designed to help students pass the State of California Court Interpreter Certification Exam and also counts towards a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish at SFSU.
The program will hold an open house on Tuesday, Dec. 7 from 6 to 7 p.m. in Building 13, Room 110. For more information, call 650-306-3353 or go to www.canadacollege.edu/university/.
