Unemployed? Cañada College Has a Free Program to Get You Working
A series of short courses for the workplace will be offered in Menlo Park.
Cañada College is offering a free series of short courses for the workplace to help unemployed individuals get back into the job market. The program begins Aug. 19 and will be taught at the Menlo Park Center, 1200 O’Brien Drive, Menlo Park.
Participants will gain valuable workplace skills and earn 12 college units. The semester-long program will focus on English for the workplace, basic accounting, MS Office, Quickbooks software, and a career class designed to help students explore possible college majors. Classes will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Thursday with an open lab on Fridays.
