Tip of the Week!

I don’t have time for a workout today.

Does this sound like you? Many of us have an all-or-nothing mentality when it comes to our workout. If you do not have time for your typical hour-long workout you skip it altogether for that day. Try this next time. If your schedule does not allow for an hour in the Cañada College Fitness Center instead take a 30 minute walk around your neighborhood. The benefits received from a shortened workout far outweigh not doing anything. Research shows that doing a little something 5-6 days is far more beneficial than 1 or 2 mega workouts a week.
