BQO in Sri Lanke

Skyline student Lindsay went to Sri Lanka this past summer with other members of the Nevada/California Phi Theta Kappa Region. Along with her fellow Phi Theta Kappans, Lindsay taught English at the Bridge2Peace Montessori School in Lunugamvehera. Lindsay described working with the children as an “amazing experience.” The school was co-founded by a California Phi Theta Kappan to help children affected by tsunami and civil war.
