Introductory Notes

Attendance and keeping up with homework is critical during the summer session.

I conduct a lot of group work which cannot be made up if you do not attend class.

In this class you're expected to:

 

  • closely read/reread/study, study, study, each section..

  • actively participate in class discussions by carefully listening to others' opinions and expressing your thoughts as clearly as possible.

  • complete all homework and in-class assignments.

  • hand in all work on time or receive less or no credit. (Note: Late work is rarely accepted.)

  • ask for the phone numbers of 2 people you can call if you miss assignments

  • have time to ask your particular questions in class and discuss your work with me during office hours.

  • closely follow attendance policy, arriving no later than 1:00; 3 days absent and you may be dropped.
